Samsung Galaxy S23 FE: What to Expect

Samsung has officially teased the arrival of the Galaxy S23 FE smartphone, causing excitement among tech enthusiasts. Speculations about the upcoming Fan Edition device from the South Korean tech giant have been circulating online, and now, the company has shared a teaser poster on X, a social media platform.

The Galaxy S23 FE is set to join the Galaxy S23 lineup, which debuted earlier this year. However, this FE variant is expected to offer a more budget-friendly price compared to the flagship models.

The teaser image on X provides a sneak peek at the smartphone’s camera module, revealing a vertically aligned triple rear camera setup similar to the design of the Galaxy S23 lineup. Accompanying the image, Samsung’s statement hints at exciting moments to come, with the tagline “The New Epic” coming soon, though no further details are provided.

The Galaxy S23 FE has already received certifications from regulatory agencies in various countries and has appeared on Google Play Console. These listings reveal that the device will come with two chipset options: the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the Exynos 2200.

Similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, it’s expected that the upcoming smartphone will use an Exynos chipset in India, although Samsung has not confirmed the chipsets for other markets.

Rumors suggest that the Galaxy S23 FE will likely feature a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Infinity-O Dynamic AMOLED display with a potential 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is also anticipated to include a 50MP primary rear camera with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens offering 3X Optical Zoom, and a 10MP front-facing camera.

Additionally, the device may incorporate an in-display fingerprint scanner. When it comes to battery capacity, the Galaxy S23 FE is rumored to house a 4500mAh unit capable of supporting 25W wired fast charging, wireless charging, and wireless power-sharing features.
